Numerous cultural activities to take place at Belgian Week in Vietnam
The first Belgian Week 2016 in Vietnam will be held in Hanoi and HCM City from November 12-19 with various cultural activities.
Organised by the Belgian Embassy in Vietnam, the event aims to highlight achievements in bilateral ties and map out future collaboration.
During the Belgian Week 2016 in Vietnam, well-known Belgian DJ Attar will have sole performances in Hanoi and HCM City on November 12 and 18, respectively, on the occasion of Dynasty Day.
Attar is a DJ and producer who dedicates a true passion to music. He has been bringing a festive mood to his sets all around the world and making a name as a remixer for great artists such as Gossip, Chrome Canyons, Giorgio Moroder, Propellers, Du Tonc, Citizens.
His debut E.P "The Fool" has been released in June 2013.
Particularly, a “Belgian Day” will take place at the Ecopark in Hung Yen, Hanoi, on November 13, featuring the culture, literature, cinema, education, regions, cities, nature and enterprises of the European country.
The “Belgian Day” will include a book corner, games on traffic safety, helmet decoration and quizzes.
On the occasion, a ceremony to unveil the winners of the photo contest “My Belgium” will be held and the organising board will exhibit the best pictures of Belgium.
Tickets for the event cost 150,000 VND (6.75 USD) for adults and 50,000 VND (2.25 USD) for children.
Meanwhile, famous pianist Jef Neve will arrive in Vietnam on November 15.
Jazz pianist Jef Neve is set to perform at the official reception marking Belgian “King’s Day” on November 15 at the Temple of Literature in Hanoi, and at the Opera House in HCM City on November 18.
