The Hanoitimes - Local famous music composer Nguyen Anh 9’s live show took place in Hanoi to celebrate his 50-year music career in Hanoi .
The show, called Nua the ky am nhac (Music of half-century) gathered local well-known singers such as Duc Long, My Linh, Thuy Dung and Hong Hanh.
The guest singers were accompanied on the piano by Nguyen Anh 9 in some of his songs.
The live show was a birthday gift from Nguyen Anh 9’s son, named Nguyen Quang, who was also a songwriter. Nguyen Anh 9's birthday was on January 1.
Quang also featured his father in a piano duet and is the sound director for his father's show.
An orchestra playing with a classical, modern style created a live soundtrack for the show.
