North Korean officials enjoy tour to Ha Long Bay
The officials were received by Secretary of the Quang Ninh provincial Party`s Committee Nguyen Van Doc, Chairman of the Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Long and invited for lunch.
A North Korean delegation, composed of 20 members in Vietnam for the second summit between US President Donald Trump and North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un, visited Ha Long Bay in a tour of several northern provinces.
Accordingly, the 20 delegates, including Deputy Foreign Affairs Ministers Ri Su Yong, Kim Pyong Hee and O Su Yong, Minister of People’s Armed Forces No Kwang Chol and Provincial Party Secretary of Gangwon Park Yong Nam took a cruise ride along Halong Bay and visited factories in the port city of Hai Phong on February 27.

According to Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party's Committee Nguyen Van Doc, in 2018, Quang Ninh province welcomed 12.2 million visitors, including 5.2 foreign holidaymakers.
North Korea leader Kim Jong-un and his high-ranking entourage arrived at the Dong Dang railway station in the northern province of Lang Son Tuesday morning on an armored train, after a more than 60-hour journey from Pyongyang.
Kim Jong-un is expected to stay in Vietnam through March 2.
He has met US President Donald Trump this evening and will do so tomorrow to discuss a range of thorny diplomatic issues, including the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
The state news agency of North Korea KCNA wrote that Kim “expressed his gratitude for the cordial hospitality and honorable treatment shown by the Vietnamese party, government and people.”
