Implementing the Ministry of Education and Training’s policy, the new school year ceremony in schools in the capital was organized briefly and solemnly.
Nearly two million students in Hanoi were excited to attend the new school year ceremony of 2018 - 2019 in 30 districts and towns of the capital.

Activities in the ceremony included flag raising, singing the national anthem, introducing delegates, reading President Tran Dai Quang’s letter on the new school day, announcing the start of the new school year and hitting the drums for the new school year.

Besides, the schools organized cultural activities, sports and fun games so that the new school day really begins a school year with spiritual and inspirational emotions.
