Korean and Vietnamese performers begin their tour of the northern and central regions on August 6.
Three music bands, Hey Ya, Alice and Pangut, from the Republic of Korea and the Nonlas band from Vietnam will treat local audiences in northern Hai Phong city and the northern province of Ha Nam as well as the central city of Vinh to a night of pop and traditional songs and dances.
In the first performance in Vietnam, Pangut will showcase the traditional Korean samulnori.
Samulnori is a Korean folk music genre that includes acrobatics, folk dances and rituals that were traditionally performed in rice farming villages to ensure and celebrate good harvests.

The concert will take place at the Viet Duc Children Culture House in Vinh city and the Culture Centre in Ha Nam province on August 6 and 9 at 7pm. In Hai Phong city, a show will be held at 3.30pm and again at 7.30pm on August 11.
