At 6 AM this morning, July 25, the flag at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi, was flown at half-mast with a black ribbon. The national mourning for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will take place over two days (July 25-26)

According to the announcement from the Funeral Committee of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, his funeral will be conducted with state funeral rites over two days, July 25-26.

The coffin of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will be laid at the National Funeral Hall, 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi.

The visitation for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will be held at the National Funeral Hall, 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi, from 7 AM to 10 PM on July 25 and from 7 AM to 1 PM on July 26.

The memorial service for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will be held at 1 PM on July 26 at the National Funeral Hall, 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi. The burial will take place at 3 PM the same day at Mai Dich Cemetery, Hanoi.
