General Secretary of the Lao People`s Revolutionary Party Central Committee and Lao President Choummaly Sayasone toured Viet Nam from August 18-21 at the invitation of Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) Central Committee General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

During his stay, he had meetings with CPV leader Trong and President Truong Tan Sang, and visited HCM City and the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong.
