Kids with disabilities enjoy free surgery
The provincial Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the centre for Vietnamese disabled children (Centre II) and the provincial General Hospital provided 150 disabled kids in Son La with free surgery.
Over 400 disabled children in remote areas of the province were given free surgery since 2012.
The campaign is jointly conducted by All surgery costs, nearly 1.5 million VND (70 USD) for each patient, are covered by health insurance.
Moreover, the National Fund for Vietnamese Children given 300,000 VND (14 USD) to each of the beneficiaries.
