Japanese journalist opens photo exhibition on Hoang Sa

​Japanese journalist Murayami Yasufui opened a photo exhibition in HCM City on July 24, displaying nearly 30 images on the hotspots in Hoang Sa (Paracel) archipelago.
During the days covering the recent East Sea dispute and living in Vietnam’s coast guard vessels in Hoang Sa, Mr Murayami Yasufui took photos on China’s aggressive acts, especially its attacks against Vietnamese law enforcement ships and fishermen. Through his trips to Da Nang, Hanoi and HCM City, he collected public opinions and learn about daily lives of fishermen.
 
Duong Thanh Thuy, deputy director of the Radio and Television Broadcasting College II said that being a Japanese man, he also expressed his wish to ask China to respect international laws and behave properly towards Vietnam’s sovereignty. His meaningful acts will help international friends learn about the East Sea situation in recent times, said Ms Thuy.
