Japan ready to assist Hanoi respond to natural disasters and hazards

By the way, Sugi Ryotaro has proposed to expand cooperation with Hanoi in providing equipment, means of explosion protection and promoting the importance of training, raising awareness of people's defenses against threats of natural disasters. Specifically, the Ambassador proposed addition of fire trucks that were used in Japan for Vietnam and Hanoi in the near future.
Ambassador Sugi Ryotaro informs that on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of ASEAN, Japan plans to organize training courses for representatives of 10 ASEAN countries against natural disasters, catastrophic scale for each country is 30-50 rim. The participants included pupils, students, professionals, etc. The event aims to support countries in the region to access to technology, Japan's initiatives in response issues of hazards, disasters as well as climate change.
Welcoming and supporting the proposal, information from the Ambassador, City Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung confirmed that the problems Mr. Sugi mentioned are the ones of the priorities of Hanoi Capital.
The issue of fire prevention and fire fighting as well as addressing environmental pollution, people training for disaster prevention, disaster, climate change is the strength of Japan. On the side of Hanoi, the City Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung insisted on his leadership position, he will create all favorable conditions for the procedure to receive the equipment of fire protection technology from Japan.
