Ireland wants to share energy development experiences with Vietnam
"The future of clean energy" is the theme of the conference held on November 5 in Hanoi by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vietnam in collaboration with the Embassy of Iceland in an official visit to Vietnam of President Olafur Ragnar Grimsson of Republic Iceland .
At the seminar, Olafur Ragnar Grimsson President introduced to the enormous potential that this European island country owns and points out the opportunities for the two countries to continue with the stronger bilateral cooperation. Specifically, Iceland has great potential in geothermal and use of renewable energy sources at a rate of almost absolute.
Iceland also identified Vietnam as countries with the process of socio-economic development of power, fuel consumption and advocated greater sustainable development requiring diverse energy solutions and reduce dependence on resources fossil energy.
Deputy Prime Minister confirmed that the opportunity to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the future is very positive, especially the energy sector which plays an essential role in the process of industrialization and growth of Vietnam.
