Investing over 1,600 billion VND from JICA loan to construct 25 bridges
The Prime Minister has agreed to invest building 25 new bridges to improve national transport through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) loan.

The Prime Minister has approved the construction of 25 bridges to replace weak structures across the country under the transport credit project funded by the JICA.
The total investment is valued at 1,686 billion VND (75.6 million USD).
The Prime Minister required the Ministry of Transport to complete investment procedures, for the bridges in line with legal regulations and ensure the investment does not exceed the JICA loan.
The programme to replace weak bridges at highways has been implemented in two phases with 144 bridges in phase 1 and 82 bridges scheduled to be built in phase 2.
The total investment is valued at 1,686 billion VND (75.6 million USD).
