International Tourism Expo 2019 takes place in Vietnam's biggest metropolis
The event themed “The tourism gateway to Asia” attracts hundreds of tourist companies and thousands of visitors from over 40 countries and territories.
The International Tourism Expo Ho Chi Minh City 2019 (ITE HCMC 2019) opened at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) on September 5, featuring 315 booths from domestic and foreign tour operators.
The ITC HCMC 2019 themed “The tourism gateway to Asia”, which lasts until September 7, is Mekong subregion’s largest travel event that attracts several domestic and international communication and exhibition agencies as well as clients from over 40 countries and territories.
The event, jointly held under the auspices of Ministry of Tourism from five nations including Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam is considered an opportunity for participants to promote tourism business and introduce Vietnamese culture and people to international friends.
This year, ITE HCMC 2019 witnesses 45 provinces and cities in Vietnam presenting their tourism products namely resorts, conferences/seminars tourism, cuisine, health care, culture among others.
The organizer also supports tourism startups to promote their products and seek investors and new partners.
Particularly, all activities are carried out under the non-paper principle. As a result, the registration and confirmation for speakers and guests together with relevant documents are serviced online via website https://tourismevents.vn/home.
Visitors to the expo can download a mobile app of ITE HCMC 2019 to quickly access and update the latest information of the event.
Most of travel agents at the exhibition have launched promotion of up to 50% off so consumers and visitors have flocked to the event to “hunt” for cheap offers.
