Intel helps teachers improve computer skills

Hanoi Times – Intel Viet Nam will help the Da Nang University of Technology teaching staff to improve their computer using skills through a program to buy laptops o­n hire-purchase.

To this effect, a memorandum of understanding was signed by representatives from Intel Viet Nam and the Da Nang University of Technology in the central city of Da Nang o­n January 10. The program aims to make information technology more accessible to Vietnamese users and narrow the knowledge gap between graduates and experienced staff, said Intel Viet Nam Director Rick Howarth.

Intel has provided a total financial support of around 1 billion USD for 150 universities in 35 countries, he added.

Also the same day, the company presented a laboratory, including a server, 20 desktop computers and a wireless network system, to the Da Nang University of Technology.
