Nestled behind the Soc Mountain, the ecological tourist site Ban Rom bears all the features of a green forest valley all year round. Just 30km from the center of Hanoi, Ban Rom which was built on the principle of preservation and development has become a convenient and ideal destination for camping activities, banquets, conferences and teambuilding.
Coming to Ban Rom, visitors experience two types of educational farms including crop and livestock farms. Livestock bred in the herding area consists of familiar animals such as chicken, buffalo, rabbit and mountain goat. Plants grown on the crop farm include tomato, peach, onion and vegetables. Visitors, especially kids, not only watch, but could directly feed animals, grow vegetables and harvest fruits.
Perhaps the most interesting pastime in Ban Rom which draws children’s attention are special games, such as catching fish by wading through an aquarium, playing the role of a soldier. Unique folk games are also their favorite hobbies namely walking through bamboo bridge, burning camp-fire, singing, dancing and cooking competitions, tug of war and group jump rope. It could be even more fun when children are directly involved in learning and making floating rice cakes, Chung cake, then enjoy their own achievements.

In Ban Rom, you will possibly get into your poses for taking photos in the colorful flower garden, countryside market or by fruit trees and unique thatched cottages.
