Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Mr. Tran Thanh Man

National Assembly Chairman, Mr. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan; Head of the Department of Propaganda and Training, Mr. Vo Van Thuong; Head of the Mass Mobilisation Commission, Mrs. Truong Thi Mai; Mr. Pham The Duyet - Former Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee; The Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Mr. Tran Thanh Man, and 442 delegates representing over 10,000 chairmen of communes, wards and townships and more than 100,000 residential areas nationwide participated in the conference.
The conference was the occasion to honor and recognize outstanding results of Chairmen of Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee at communes, wards and townships levels. It is also an opportunity to exchange experiences in order to strengthen front activity in communes, wards, towns and residential areas.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Mr. Tran Thanh Man emphasized that the 442 delegates attending the event were the most dedicated ones; contributing to the tradition of the great national unity of Vietnam.
On behalf of the Standing Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Mr. Tran Thanh Man encouraged people in the country as well as those who live abroad to continue to unite and responde to the national campaigns. Especially, the chairmen of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at communes, wards and townships levels should well complete their responsibilities in spite of difficulties, with the aim of building and consolidating great national unity while determining to successfully implement objectives set by the 12th Party Congress and make meritorious contributions to the Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels and the Ninth National Congress in period 2019-2024.
On behalf of the Party and State, National Assembly Chairman, Mr. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan praised the outstanding chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee at the commune level and head of the National Outstanding Front Activity Department for the period 2014 - 2017. The comittee has performed well the role of encouraging and stimulating creativity, promoting internal strength, strengthening the solidarity of families and households for the successful implementation of socio-economic development tasks throughout the country while improving the supervision, social criticism and participation in establishing the suscessful party, administration and political system.
"In the past, all the members have always been enthusiastic and creative while understanding opinions of the local people, promoting democracy, coordinating with the authorities to improve people’s life and contributing to building a strong political system", the National Assembly chairman said.

National Assembly Chairman, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan awarded certificates of merit to outstanding individuals.

According to the Chairman of the National Assembly, the overarching task of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Comitee is to continue to strengthen, build and consolidate a great national unity for the common goal of building a prosperous and civilized country.
The conference has awarded the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit to 51 individuals who are chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the commune level and Head of The National Outstanding Front Activity Department with many achievements from 2014 to 2017. At the same time, the Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee were also awared to 391 individuals who are chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the communal level and Head of The National Outstanding Front Activity Department for outstanding achievements between 2014 and 2017.
