Leaders of the Party and the State,  guests from ministries, departments, central and local agencies, as well as those from Vietnam and abroad, were all warmly welcomed to the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, and the Museum dedicated to him to learn about President Ho Chi Minh's life, career, ideology, morality, and style. Almost a million of them are domestic tourists.

Additionally, during the first quarter, materials comprising over 116 document files, five original books, and 13 scientific records about Uncle Ho's life and career were compiled by the Ho Chi Minh historical relic site.

From 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on weekdays except for Mondays and Fridays, the relics are available to the public.

Among the national relics associated with President Ho Chi Minh, the Presidential Palace, and its premises attract the most visitors.

From 1970 to the present, this location has received over 80 million domestic and international visitors. The relic site saw 6,000 to 8,000 people a day on average prior to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The number of visitors would reach 50,000 on significant occasions like President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19) and National Independence Day (September 2).

According to the municipal Department of Tourism, Hanoi received nearly 5.9 million visitors in the first three months of this year, which is twice the amount during the same time in 2022. Among them, the number of international visitors to the nation's capital increased by 5.9 times year over year to over 978,000.

Hanoi's goal for this year is to receive 22 million visitors and make VND77 trillion (US$3.27 billion).
