Headline chefs to attend food festival at Sofitel Hanoi
VOV/Hanoitimes 10:23, 2016/09/22
This fall (Oct. 10 – Nov. 23) sees the launch of the first food festival at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi where there will be headline chef demos, foodie talks, wine tastings and terrific live music for all to enjoy.
The Chef Demo stage, the Sofitel Legend has unveiled, will welcome great names from the world of cookery from Italy, France, Vietnam, Thailand and China showing off their culinary skills.
Headlining this year’s event is Paolo Vitaletti, chef and owner of Italian trattoria, Appia, in Bangkok. Vitaletti, will cook an array of lunches and dinners featuring authentic Roman-style dishes including handmade paccheri carbonara and cavatelli with lamb ragu.

French bread chef Christophe Grilo and cheese master Gerard Poulard along with wine connoisseur Thibault Gagey, a representative from Louis Jadot, will also be gracing the stage at the extravaganza.
In addition, amateur bakers will compete head-to-head in a variety of baking categories and foodie talks will be held providing guests the opportunity to hear from the celebrity chefs and discover their culinary secrets in a more interactive and intimate arena.
We’re thrilled to announce the attendance of great chefs at the launch of the event, said the Sofitel Legend, and excited to see the event come to life. We hope that people will come and lap up the wonderful atmosphere the event brings.
