Hanoi’s students win big at BIMC 2018
Hanoi’s students won 29 individual and 14 team prizes at the Bulgaria International Mathematics Competition 2018 (BIMC 2018) in Bulgaria from July 1-6.

The Vietnamese team was divided into four groups to participate in the Key Stage II (Upper Primary Level) competition while other four groups of 16 students under 17 took part in the Key Stage III (Lower Secondary Level) category.
The five students gaining gold medal are Do Quang Minh, Van Trong Khoi, Nguyen Le Duc Anh, Tran Binh Minh, Nguyen Ngoc Minh Duy. Do Quang Minh got 120 points, that was one of the students scored the highest point of the contest. This achievement is the sweet result of the teachers' devotion and the students' hard work.
The BIMC 2018 drew more than 1,000 young contestants from 28 countries and territories, so the atmosphere was really vibrant. It was the second time the contest has been held in Europe, the first BIMC was launched in 2013.
