Hanoi’s CPI grows by 0.13% in June
According to the Hanoi Statistics Office, the municipal consumer price index (CPI) increased by 0.13% in June against last month and 0.98% compared with the same month last year, buoyed by the increase in petrol prices.
Triggered by the petrol price adjustment on May 20, the price bracket saw the largest rise in transportation, soaring 3.58% from May.

Slight surges were seen in garments, footwear and hats (0.14%); housing, electricity, water, fuel, and building materials (0.06%); home appliances (0.1%); beverages and tobacco (0.49%); medicine and healthcare services (0.05%); culture, entertainment and tourism (0.17%); and other commodities (0.1%).
Prices in post-communication and education sectors remained unchanged.
