Hanoi wishes to enhance educational cooperation with New Zealand’s partners
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training and the New Zealand Education Agency have signed a memorandum of understanding on educational cooperation as a basis for advancing particular projects.

Briefing the guest on Hanoi’s latest socio-economic developments, Chung said that in the first nine months of 2019, the capital’s Gross Regional Domestic Product growth (GRDP) reached 7.31%, budget revenue collection in Hanoi makes up 19.6% of the nation's.

For his part, Grant Robertson emphasized that the Hanoi Department of Education and Training and the New Zealand Education Agency have signed a memorandum of understanding on educational cooperation as a basis for advancing particular projects, contributing to reforming Hanoi's training system in a modern and practical manner.
At the meeting, Chung and Grant Robertson witnessed the signing ceremony of a collaboration agreement between the Hanoi Department of Education and Training and the New Zealand Education Agency.

Besides, the two sides will cooperate to improve professional competence of teachers and educational administrators in Hanoi, promote exchanges and connections between Hanoi city’s schools and New Zealand ones, introduce New Zealand scholarship programs to Hanoi’s students, among others.
The two sides also agreed to cooperate in other fields. The Hanoi Department of Education and Training and the New Zealand Education Agency's representative in Vietnam will take the prime responsibility in carrying out these cooperative contents.
