On this occasion, the Hanoi Government will disseminate the city's outstanding achievements after 15 years of adjusting administrative boundaries in all fields, external activities and international integration of the city in recent years.

The activities of the Fatherland Front, political and social organizations in recent years, especially those aimed at rallying all strata of the people and strengthening community consensus, will also be publicized.

The communication campaign will also focus on the results of patriotic emulation movements and praise examples of "good people, good deeds."

In July and August, Hanoi will also organize an exhibition on the socio-economic achievements over the past 15 years and introduce the city's typical traditional handicraft villages.

On this occasion, many cultural and sports activities will be held in districts and towns throughout the city.

An evaluation conference held in August

A conference will be held on August 1 to take stock of the 15th anniversary of the implementation of Resolution No. 15/2008/NQ-QH12 of the 12th National Assembly, dated May 29, 2008, on the adjustment of the administrative boundaries of the capital.

The conference will highlight the benefits, limitations, causes and lessons learned in the management and implementation of the policy. On this basis, tasks and solutions will be proposed to continue effectively implementing the above-mentioned resolution in the new period.

Following the National Assembly's approval, Hanoi tripled in size with the merger of Ha Tay Province, Me Linh District of Vinh Phuc Province and a sizable portion of Luong Son District in Hoa Binh Province.
