Hanoi to have Nguyen Quy Duc walking street in 2017

The Hanoi People`s Committee on August 2 approved the proposal of Thanh Xuan district to build Nguyen Quy Duc St into a walking street
At the press conference held by the municipal Party Committee on August 2, Vice Chairman of Thanh Xuan district Dang Hong Thai said that the district is working out the plans to invest and upgrade the Nguyen Trai route turning into a model street with synchronous infrastructure.

At the conference, the Hanoi People's Committee approved the proposal of Thanh Xuan district to build Nguyen Quy Duc street into a walking street.
Vice Chairman Thai said the Nguyen Quy Duc street, located in Thanh Xuan Bac ward will be upgraded and stalls run by small traders selling foods, clothes, accessories, daily goods, souvenirs and handicrafts will be set up to attract more tourists.

As scheduled, Nguyen Quy Duc walking street is set to open in early  next year. Street festivals, flower roads, cultural exhibition, sport and art activities will be organised there.
