Hanoi to have an air environmental monitoring system sponsored by France

Accordingly, France will support the air quality environmental monitoring in Hanoi, to help the Capital's authority in particular as well as Vietnam's government in general to effectively implement the policies and actions to cope with climate changes and assure sustainable development and environmental protection.
Ambassador Bertrand Lortholary thought that with the current level of environmental pollution, Hanoi needs to have instruments to measure and analyze the air quality so that the people will have information by real time to obtain the necessary information so as to work out solutions to improve the environmental quality of the City.
Therefore, France wants to support and share experience with Vietnam to cooperate in analyzing the daily air quality in Hanoi and transferring technology in the sustainable urban sector.
