Hanoi to celebrate Korean culture

A week of Korean traditional cultural activities is set to get underway at the Vietnam Women’s Museum in Hanoi from August 17-23.

Visitors to the event will have the opportunity to visit, interact and experience a wide diversity of Korean activities including a Korean Mask and Pungmul art exhibition, Talchum and Pungmul folk dance performances, trying on Hanbok-Korean traditional costumes, and enjoying Korean cuisine.

Tickets to the event are VND30,000 for foreigner visitors and VND15,000 for Vietnamese residents.

The event is the result of a joint effort by the Vietnam Women’s Museum and the Korean Cultural Centre in Hanoi.
