Hanoi to attend International Food Industry Exhibition 2017
The Hanoi People’s Committee issued Official Letter No. 4858/UBND-KT dated October 5, giving approval in principle to attend Vietnam International Food Industry Exhibition 2017 in Ho Chi Minh City from November 15 to November 18.
Accordingly, the pavilion of Hanoi will cover an area of 180 square meters, equalling 20 standard stalls. It will include 16 stalls introducing products of Hanoi enterprises, and four stalls displaying images, catalogues and publications on trade and investment promotion of the Capital City.
The city will offer goods of the food processing industry, such as vegetable and fruit (fresh, dried, canned and frozen products), aquatic products (frozen, canned and processed products), drinks (alcohols, beers and beverages), tea and coffee, food materials (rice, nuts, spices, additives and sauces), processed food (milk, dairy products, canned and processed foods, processed foods, edible oil, and functional foods), and food processing technologies and equipments.

The Promotion Center in coordination with Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Industry Agriculture and Rural Development, Department of Industry Finance and relevant associations, enterprises and units attend the exhibition, and report result to the People’s Committee after the exhibition finishes.
