The banners and posters depict the 49th anniversary of Reunification Day, the 141st anniversary of International Workers’ Day, and the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.

A few days before Reunification Day [April 30] and Labor Day [May 1], Hanoi’s streets turn red with national flags and banners celebrating the national holidays.

This year’s holiday lasts five days from April 27, giving people time for celebrations and vacations.
