Hanoi starts the construction of 800 billion VND park
Mai Dich park with a lake inside will not provide more public parks and playgrounds, but also address demand for green space in Hanoi’s Cau Giay and Nam Tu Liem districts
Hanoi People's Committee of Hanoi and the VinGroup’s Hong Ngan Company held a ceremony to start the construction of Mai Dich Park in Hanoi’s Cau Giay and Nam Tu Liem districts on January 18.
Attending the ceremony was Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung.
The project that has the total investment of over 800 billion VND, is built on an area of over 15ha in Mai Dich ward, Cau Giay district and My Dinh 2 ward, Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi.
In the entire project area, part of the water occupies more than 5 hectares, contributing to make the environment healthy and fresh.
The remaining part of the project devoted to works of green landscape, hills helps regulate regional environment and creates a green space for local residents.
In addition, the project will create a comprehensive general landscape, a green lung for the entire area, meeting the need of parks in Cau Giay and Nam Tu Liem districts in general and Mai Dich and My Dinh 2 wards in particular.
The project will be completed in 2017.
