Hanoi restores Thuy Trung Tien temple on Truc Bach lake
A groundbreaking ceremony to rebuild Thuy Trung Tien temple on Truc Back lake, west of Hanoi, and build a stone bridge linking Thanh Nien road and the island was organised on July 6.
The project is expected to worth 19 billion VND and was approved by the Ba Dinh District People’s Committee in 2011.
The project of rebuilding Thuy Trung Tien temple is expected to cost nearly 14 billion VND, and stone bridge construction project linking Thanh Nien road and the island has the total expected investment capital of over 5.1 billion VND.
The temple is considered to be built in the Ly Dynasty (11th century). It is located among Truc Bach and West Lake's landscapes in Hanoi.
