Hanoi opens Vietbuild 2016 international exhibition
The third Vietbuild 2016 international exhibition, one of the most prestigious events of the construction industry, kicked off at the National Construction Exhibition Centre in Nam Tu Liem District in Hanoi on November 16.
Attending the opening ceremony were Deputy Minister of Construction Bui Pham Khanh, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen The Hung, Chairman of the Vietnam Real Estate Association Nguyen Tran Nam and representatives of ministries and central agencies.
Vietbuild 2016 international exhibition drew the participation of 420 domestic and international enterprises.
Apart from 270 domestic enterprises and 93 joint ventures, the expo also sees the participation of 60 foreign companies from 22 nations and territories, including the UK, France, the US, Switzerland, Australia, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, and China.
The event features 1,350 booths displaying a wide range of building materials, machinery and technologies, interior-exterior decorations, and real estate.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman Nguyen The Hung said the event will be a forum for businesses to access the advanced green technology and products used in the building material industry, and interior and exterior decorations.
Hanoi city is ready to welcome domestic and foreign enterprises to invest in the city, he added.
According to Chairman of the Vietnam Real Estate Association Nguyen Tran Nam, the exhibition offers a chance for firms and
management agencies to assess the property market.
It also helps enterprises find drawbacks in their business activities, Nam noted.
Conferences on advanced green technology and products used in the building material industry, and interior and exterior decorations will also be held on the sidelines of the expo.
The event lasts through November 20.
