Hanoi kicks off a photo exhibition on general election
Hanoi Department of Culture and Sport opened a photo exhibition themed "Festival of all people" at the Ly Thai To Monument Flower Garden on May 17.
The exhibition aims to raise public awareness of the significance of voting, the roles of the National Assembly (NA) and People’s Councils and their members.
Nearly 200 photos depicting past general elections are being dislayed at the exhibition.
The exhibition also features the preparation work in Hanoi for the upcoming general election of members to the 14th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term.
Other exhibits include books, newspapers, and historical documents on the Party, the NA and the municipal administration.
The event will include a few of art performances.
The exhibition runs until May 23.
