|
Taking place from October 1-6, 2016, the exhibition will introduce to art-lovers more than 80 photos of Hanoi's heritage - the "witnesses" full of historical, cultural and the architectural values of the thousand-year civilized land. With 3 major contents: "The imprint of architecture of Thang Long - Hanoi"; "The Capital’s architecture in integration period"; "The conservation and embellishment to ensure the diversity of architectural culture", the exhibition can be seen as a story about the presence of legacy over time, with hearts and hands cosseting, preserving the legacy of Hanoian generations and inexpressible pride of legacy "treasure" that our fathers left. Of which, there are legacies that has been recognized by UNESCO as World Cultural Heritages. The photos contribute to affirm that Hanoi is a City with a thousand-year long history, undergoing dynasties but still retains its own cultural soul. This is also a testament to explain why Hanoi is considered as one of the 10 world's most attractive "destinations". The 80 beautiful photos also help to further clarify the efforts of the Party, Government and People of the Capital in conserving, preserving and promoting heritage values; at the mean time confirming that Hanoi is worthy to be the destination of many investors and tourists.
