Prior to this situation, recently, in Yen Hoa high school, Hanoi Department of Education and Training organized a seminar on drug prevention and education at the city level in 2017, so that children learn about the harm of drug and how to avoid this evils.

According to experts, there are many reasons why pupils and students become the main targets of drug addiction, especially the causes of gender, age characteristics and economic circumstances. The situation in this area poses many challenges for authorities, units and social organizations.

According to Chairman of the Management Board of the Drug Users Research Institute, Mr. Le Trung Tuan, there are more than 100 types of drug in Vietnam's market. Some particularly dangerous drugs are attacking young people, including marijuana, fine grass, tongue tufts, or paper stamps on the surface with the strongest hallucinogenic substance. The latest synthetic drugs are milk tea, non-nicotine electronic cigarettes in the form of liquid that are addictive and can be considered as a disguised drug when mixed with other substances.

With the guidance of experts from the Management Board of the Drug Users Research Institute, students watched videos about the urgency of drug prevention in schools. They actively participate in games, answer questions about drugs, identify drugs and the harms of each drug, and deal with risk situations that lead to behavioral use.
