Hanoi approves the development plan of industrial cluster
Chairman of Hanoi People`s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung has recently signed Decision No. 1292 / QD-UBND approving the development master plan of the City`s industrial cluster to 2020 with a vision to 2030.
Under the Decision, the planning of Hanoi's industrial cluster development to 2020, with a vision to 2030 including 159 industrial clusters totaling about 3,204.31 ha. Specifically:
In the period up to 2020, there are 138 industrial clusters with an area of about 2,622.91 ha.
Limiting the development, long-term implementation of the approved plan for 22 existing industrial clusters in the green-belt area with a total area of about 428.81 ha.
Selectively set up 52 industrial clusters with a total area of about 596 ha.
In the period of 2021-2030, five industrial clusters will be expanded in the period of 2017-2020 with the total area of 45.4 ha.
To build 21 industrial clusters with a total area of 536 ha.
On the location and distribution of the industrial cluster network, in the north, Soc Son, Me Linh, Dong Anh, Long Bien and Gia Lam districts will strengthen regional links and two economic corridors; associated with economic corridor of Con Minh - Hanoi - Hai Phong.
In the south, Thuong Tin and Phu Xuyen districts will prioritize the development of bio-industries for agriculture (high-tech agriculture); to develop textile and garment supporting industries such as footwear, mechanical engineering, electronics and informatics, etc.
For industrial clusters with specific characteristics of handicraft villages, space and land funds are interspersed in the development spaces of other types due to the characteristics of industrial production handicraft.
For industrial clusters located in the green-belt, the orientation will continue to selectively develop a number of industrial clusters to preserve and develop traditional trades and serve the socio-economic development objectives.
