Ha Dong silk to shine at Vietnam Day in Austria

The “Vietnam Day in Austria” will be held at Ottakringer Brauerei and Ottakringer Platz squares in Vienna on September 4-5 to mark Vietnam’s National Day by Viet EU Association.
Austrian and other visitors will have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine culture while Austrian businesses will find out Vietnam’s potential export products.
Miss Earth 2013 Katia Wagner and European, Vietnamese European and ASEAN models will present a fashion collection of Van Phuc silk costumes prepared by renowned Vietnamese Austrian and German designers La Hong, EnTuan, La toi and Hong Nguyen.
Fashion designer La Hong hoped the collection will help promote images of Vietnamese traditional long dress (Ao Dai) to international friends.

Famous opera singers from the EU like Mate Kamaras, Cyril Radler and Richard Peter and artists from Japan like Tomoko Mayeda - Hirata, and Miharu Yoshida Gartmayer will take part in the event.
During the event, the World Natural Heritage Ha Long Bay, silk culture and Vietnam’s famous landscape will be recommended.
On the occasion, the Viet EU Association will conduct an auction to raise fund for flood victims in Ha Long, Quang Ninh province, Vietnam.
