“Green, Clean and Beautiful Hanoi” is displayed
Department of Information and Communications and Hanoi Artistic Photography Association has recently co-organized an awards ceremony of the photo competition and opened an photo exhibition themed “Green, Clean and Beautiful Hanoi" at 45 Trang Tien Street.
The opening ceremony saw the attendance of the Permanent Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Van Suu.
The photo competition attracted 1,619 single photo entries and 20 collection entries of 279 participants. Entries had closely followed the theme and served the main purpose of raising local awareness toward building a modern, green, clean and beautiful Capital city.
On the framework of the awards ceremony, the organizing board presented one special, two first, three second, six third and 24 consolation prizes to outstanding entries. The exhibition featuring entries of the photo competition provides panoramic information and multi-dimensional images on activities of environmental protection, urban embellishment, building a civilized urban lifestyle in Hanoi.
The exhibition also contributes to making strong changes on order, discipline and urban civilized lifestyle, enhancing the responsibility of the people in the city to build a more prosperous, civilized and modern Capital city. The exhibition will last until May 8.
