The Vietnam-Germany University has 1,500 students pursuing 11 majors. It is considered the most remarkable result of the two countries’ education partnership.
The President voiced his hope that the university will continue completing its infrastructure to lure more students from the Southeast Asian region and Asia at large.
Vietnam stands ready to bridge Germany and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) through the Vietnam-Germany University model, he said.
The State leader suggested the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training closely work with German partners to deal with bottlenecks in administration and management for the university’s stronger development.
For her part, Karin described the university as a successful cooperation model between the two countries, adding that Hessen State is interested in the project and continues partnering with the Vietnamese side to improve the education quality at the university.
