Organized in Vietnam for 9 years, but this is the first time that the French Gastronomy Festival “Balade en France” has set foot in Hanoi.
The Balade en France 2018 celebration is a review event of the series of activities organized as part of the celebration of the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between France and Vietnam and the 5th anniversary of the strategic partnership, organized by the French Embassy in Vietnam, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food (France) and the People’s Committee of Hanoi.
Aiming to present to the Vietnamese public the specialties, culinary masterpieces, cultural and entertaining French activities, Balade en France promises to bring visitors surprising and interesting experiences, but also unforgettable moments.
Come to the 2018 Gastronomy Festival in Hanoi and you will have the opportunity to enjoy famous French dishes, test technological products, cosmetics, and French furniture with more than 60 stands of restaurants and French companies in Vietnam. Walking down a Parisian street during Christmas time lined with shops and decorated with sparkling lights.
Enjoy the festival of French music with many new songs through the voices of French groups and famous Vietnamese artists like My Linh, Dong Lan, Trang Phap, etc.

Watching a movie blossomed a meeting, we – the viewers, who sometimes asked ourselves what made us start watching a movie, and we are not always finding reasons, maybe finding the reasons is not necessary at all. The impossibility of attempting to visualize such invisible things, these series invite audiences to make appointments, like dating someone. We hide information/ reviews about the selected films in the unpredictable state of anticipated encounters.

The Goethe-Institut Hanoi and their partner for the organization of second German Christmas Market in Hanoi wish you a Merry Christmas!
They warmly invite visitors of all ages to Hanoi’s German Christmas Market of this year. Get in the holiday spirit at the Cua Bac Church. A pre-Christmas feeling expects you, to escape the big city stress, relax, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Savor Christmas scents, sample typical Christmas Market treats and beverages, buy hand-made items, and spend memorable moments with friends and family over a cup of hot wine or Christmas beer.
As it is the customs in Germany, where a Christmas Market is located near a beautiful church or romantic building – the Christmas Market in Hanoi will be hosted by the Cua Bac Church. With its clock tower and picturesque windows, it provides the perfect festive ambient for the Christmas Market, whose sights, sounds and scents will allow visitors to experience Christmas with all their senses. As you stroll across the market, you can admire and purchase many special items for you and your loved ones, from typical ‘Stollen’ pastry to hand-crafted Vietnamese products.
To get you in the right mood, the musical program is extensive. Students of the Goethe-Institute, the bamboo ensemble under the direction of Dong Quang Vinh and the Trinh cello sextet contribute to the glad ambiance.
Enjoy a beautiful time with music, candlelight, and the aroma of hot wine and get in a festive mood for the holidays. We are looking forward to welcoming you at their second Christmas Market.
