Talking with us, Toi considers himself as a sensitive guy with special attraction to victims of agent orange. Therefore, since 2009, he has participated in charity works. After that, he himself founded the national charity club, with an aim to call thousands of young people doing charity works for victims of agent orange. According to Toi, they have to suffer the most than anyone else. Without them, without their parents, we will not have our life as of today, with the current peace, so that we should appreciate this. “Really, when you see people suffering and with bad luck right after being born, not only me but others will try to make up for them” – Toi shared. Since the foundation of the national charity club, many fundraising activities have been carried out, which bring practical benefits and send a message of “relieve the pain for agent orange victims”. More than 1,000 presents with value of approx. 2 billion VND have been gifted to the unlucky.
Noticing graduate students lack soft skills when looking for jobs, since September 2015, Toi frequently organizes training courses and career orientation for free with him being the teacher. His classes have benefited hundreds of students to have better opportunities looking for jobs.

Trash collection activity of the national charity club has become famous and a lot of young people contract to join when they have free time. According to Toi, this is aimed to raise young people’s awareness in environmental protection, at the same time sending a message to people not dumping garbage everywhere, as the environment is facing serous risks from pollution. Until now, his goal is along with the national charity club to clean trash and make the most modern high way in Vietnam – Thang Long highway to become more beautiful and clean.
“I do this for the community and a greener and more beautiful Hanoi. I want everyone to raise awareness about environmental protection, and it is for ourselves and the next generations” – Toi said.
