French Cultural Centre in Hanoi launches new branch
The new branch is located at the Hanoi University of Architecture in Ha Dong district.
The opening of L'Espace Ha Dong is part of activities to celebrate the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and France.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony on April 6, French Ambassador to Vietnam Bertrand Lortholary said that the France visit of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong paved the way for numerous bilateral cooperations including the lanching of L’Espace Ha Dong.

Until now, more than 200 students registered to French courses at the center, briefed the Ambassador. He expressed hopes that learners of the courses held by the centre will act to foster cultural relations between the two countries.
Meanwhile, Director of the Hanoi University of Architecture Le Quan said that the opening of the centre inside the university will offer a multicultural environment for students of the facility, facilitate easy access to the French culture, especially architecture. Students of the university can also have more chances in studying in French universities thanks to the centre, he added.
In 2017, the Hanoi University of Architecture and the L’Espace, which is headquartered in Trang Tien street of Hoan Kiem district, reached an agreement on the launching of the facility. Language courses at the centre, which are designed to meet the diverse needs of learners, and cultural events have attracted large numbers of participants
