A special art program will be held at 20:00 on October 10 at My Dinh National Stadium to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Hanoi's Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - 2024), attracting an estimated 25,000 visitors.
Themed “Hanoi - The City of Peace – The City of Flying Dragon”, the art performance will be broadcast live on VTV, according to a plan signed by Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh.

The program includes a drone light display, high-altitude fireworks, and low-altitude fireworks and pyrotechnics.
The vivid fireworks display will be set up at the Fl racecourse area, My Dinh Stadium with 800 fireworks shells launched from 24 pyrotechnic rags.

Meanwhile, the artistic drone LED light show with 2,024 drones will depict various iconic Hanoi landmarks, including the Temple of Literature, Thang Long Bridge, Ngoc Son Temple, and The Huc Bridge over Hoan Kiem Lake.
The shows are expected to create a lively atmosphere and arouse citizens' pride in Hanoi and the capital's historical events.
The liberation of the capital, Hanoi, on October 10, 1954, marked an important turning point for Hanoi as it ended the colonialism in the thousand-year city.

On the occasion, Hanoi will also hold a series of activities, including several contests with the theme “70 years of the Capital’s Liberation Day” and “Ambassador - Reading Culture”; a film week commemorating the Liberation Day; launching literary and art writing contests on Hanoi and the Liberation Day; organizing the Red River Delta Photo Festival, Peace and Culture Day, Hanoi Marathon - Heritage Race, Hanoi Open dragon boat racing; second Hanoi Autumn Festival and Hanoi Ao Dai Tourism Festival, among others.
