Film on President Ho Chi Minh in Thailand to be screened from January 30th

The latest documentary film on President Ho Chi Minh entitled “Thau Chin o Xiem” (Thau Chin in Thailand) by Director, Bui Tuan Dung will kick off the film week celebrating the 85th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam to take place nationwide from January 30th to February 5th.

The film was based on a scenario of the same name by Dinh Thien Phuc, who was presented the first prize for literature and art in response to the campaign on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s example in ethics. It depicted the revolutionary activities of President Ho Chi Minh, who was known under the name Nguyen Ai Quoc in Thailand from 1928 to 1929, the building of revolutionary bases, the preparation for the unification of three communist organizations towards the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam on February 3rd, 1930.
The Department of Cinema under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that the Department provided high-quality films to film production centers and cinemas in localities. From January 30th the film will be screened in provinces and cities nationwide to serve local people and soldiers. In the framework of the film week in Cao Bang province, the filmmaker will have an exchange with cadres, soldiers and people in the province
