Fantasia Wind Quintet to perform in Hanoi

The Japan Foundation Centre for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam will present its tenth act of the JF Garage Concert - a concert by Fantasia Wind Quintet - on July 30.
Fantasia Wind Quintet was founded in 2006, consisting of members who teach at the Vietnam National Academy of Music (VNAM) and artists from the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra.
The members themselves were students of the VNAM and many other prestigious music academies worldwide, such as the Danish Royal Academy of Music in Denmark, University of North Texas, and Hong Kong Academy for Music and Performing Arts. The Fantasia Wind Quintet has performed many concerts and recitals at home and abroad, as well as on television and radio programmes.
In July 30 concert, Fantasia Wind Quintet will play masterpieces by well-known Japanese and Western composers, including W. A. Mozart, Sada Masashi, Nakata Akira, Scott Joplin, Michael Kibbe, Joseph Haydn, and Arne Running.
The concert will take place from 8pm to 9pm at the courtyard of the Japan Foundation Centre, 27 Quang Trung Street.
Free admission and no registration is required (first come, first served).
