Export of forestry products on the rise

Vietnam earned US$4.1 billion from exporting forest products and wood furniture in 2011, representing a year-on-year increase of 14.7 per cent.

The Hanoitimes - Vietnam earned US$4.1 billion from exporting forest products and wood furniture in 2011, representing a year-on-year increase of 14.7 per cent.


Importers of traditional Vietnamese wood products include the US, China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, and the UK, according to the General Department of Forestry.
