The three-day expo features 190 physical booths and 120 virtual ones at www.entechhanoi.vn, attracting 145 businesses from Vietnam and other countries, including South Korea, Japan, and China.

Participants will present thousands of products and various technologies in renewable energy and the environment. Vietnamese and international companies are expected to make contacts and sign contracts to transfer energy-saving technologies.

Speaking at the opening ceremony on October 26, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen underlined over the past 13 years. The fair has attracted the participation of 2,900 enterprises with 15,000 products and services, with deals worth more than $155 million.

“It is expected to create trade linkages and further promote economic cooperation between domestic enterprises with South Korean businesses and countries in the region,” he added.

Quyen said over the years, the city has applied many solutions to improve energy efficiency in production and business facilities, households, and public agencies.

Visitors are seeking energy-saving technologies and products at the expo.

At the expo, visitors can discuss with experts and learn from experiences about energy saving and environmental protection technologies and products.

The annual event is held with the desire to create opportunities for businesses to find customers and promote their products, especially in the South Korean market.

It is jointly hosted by the Vietnamese Ministries of Industry and Trade, Natural Resources and Environment, the Hanoi People’s Committee, the Vietnam Association of Science and Technology, and South Korea’s Busan City.
