Implementing the Party`s Program 08-CT/TU of promoting administrative reform, with the motto of "patient to be centered", Hanoi health sector has been trying to reduce positive complains from patients and family members, at the mean time simplifying administrative procedures.

In an effort to realize instruction of the Secretary of Municipal Party Committee on managing non-public health and pharmacy practice in Ha Noi, the Municipal People’s Committee requires Department of Health, Department of Information and Communications, Department of Home Affairs, Ha Noi Police Department, People’s Committees of districts and towns to further implement Municipal People’s Committee Directive 10/CT-UBND dated May 2, 2013, and implement instruction of the Municipal Party Committee Secretary in Official Letter 699-CV/VPTU dated December 6, 2016 of the Party Committee Office, details as follows.

The Department of Health in coordination with relevant departments and agencies conducts examination and inspection, checks operation of non-public health and pharmacy facilities and handles violations strictly, hence ensuring safety of the people. Chairpeople of the People’s Committees at all levels must take responsibility, if infraction occurs in the areas under their management.

The Department of Information and Communications cooperates with relevant departments and units to publicize result of the inspection and punishment for violation, hence preventing further infraction.

Relevant units, sectors and People’s Committees of districts and towns increase information work, enhance inspection and supervise law compliance, hence improving people’s awareness and health workers’ sense of law compliance.
