The host suggested that the two nations should strengthen delegation exchanges at all levels, accelerate cooperation in defense-security, trade and investment, science and technology, education and training among others in order to further deepen their comprehensive partnership.
Deputy PM, FM Minh also asked the two countries to continue close coordination at regional and international forums like the East Asia Summit, APEC, and the United Nations.
The New Zealand Ambassador affirmed that New Zealand respects the role and status of Viet Nam and will continue working with the Southeast Asian country to foster bilateral cooperation in all domains for the development of both countries and for peace, stability, development and prosperity in the region.
The Ambassador said that after returning home, assigned as the new position, he will continue to promote the relationship of Vietnam-New Zealand comprehensive partnership to grow more and more strongly, substantively and effectively.
