Displaying thousands of post stamps in Vietstampex 2015
The fifth national stamp exhibition (Vietstampex 2015) will be held at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace in Hanoi from December 11-13.
The Vietstampex 2015 is co-chaired by the Ministries of Information and Communications, Foreign Affairs, Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Corporation, Vietnam Stamp Association to welcome the ASEAN Community and major holidays of the country in 2015.
This year's exhibition will attract the paricipation of 19 stamp associations nationwide with 139 stamp collectors.
At the exhibition, visitors will have an opportunity to experience fresh perspectives on unique culture of the country, revolutionary history, late President Ho Chi Minh, the relationships with ASEAN and 70 years of the post office sector.
Notably, the event will feature thousands of precious stamps, including ancient ones dating back to the 19th century.
In addition, stamps on island, social issues, nature, environment and engineering will also be on display at the exhibition.
Vietstampex 2015 will be one of cultural meaningful activities and create a venue for stamp collectors to share their experiences and popularise their hobby in the community.
The event will be the destination for tourists visiting to Hanoi.
