Discover Vietnamese specialties at Hanoi Culture Cuisine Festival
Visitors can savor culinary heritages and typical dishes of three regions of Vietnam and watch food elaboration processes as well as some demonstrations of the artisan cooks nationwide.
The Hanoi Culture Cuisine Festival 2019 held by the municipal People’s Committee gathers 30 pavilions introducing Vietnam’s cuisine and some typical dishes of regions throughout the country to locals and tourists.
Speaking at the opening ceremony on June 7 evening, Deputy Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Ngo Van Quy stressed that this is a cultural event aimed to honor and introduce the culinary heritage of Hanoi and Vietnam.
The highlight of the second holding of this festival in Hanoi is 50 to 70 pavilions displaying recreated spaces of the highlands of Ha Giang province, the old villages of the northern plain, a corner of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, the Hoi An Old Town and Ben Thanh Market among others.

Also at the festival, there are spaces for visitors to enjoy artworks of cultural and culinary history from the past to the present and play some Vietnamese traditional folk games.

The festival lasts for three days from June 7 to 9 at the Thong Nhat (Reunification) Park, Hai Ba Trung district.
