This year's Vietnam online shopping festival brings many attractive promotions for consumers.

With over 10,000 websites, businesses, and traders from various industries and sectors, this online shopping day will attract a large number of consumers, especially when online shopping has become popular amidst the complicated development of the COVID-19 pandemic.
To meet the demand of consumers, organizers have launched attractive promotions. In addition to enjoying the preferential vouchers like gift certificates and discount codes, consumers can "hunt for vouchers" on Online Friday platforms (website, fan page, application) as well as from websites of their partners.
Up to now, Online Friday has partnered with Vietnam Post, Viettel Post, Napas, VNPay, Viettel Pay with a total value of business support up to VND30 billion (US$1.3 million).
Nguyen Nhon Quy, Head of Communication Department of AEON Vietnam said AEON Eshop and EON e-commerce site are offering 30-50% discount for a lot of products including home appliances, electronics, and fashion.

At this event, Lazada has launched a 60-hour online shopping program that offers discounts between 18 and 70 per cent for hundreds of best-selling products. It also offered free shipping for many products.
Dang Hoang Hai, head of the E-commerce and Digital economy agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) said he expects that this festival will bring practical benefits to both consumers and the business community from manufacturers, distributors to infrastructure service providers for e-commerce.
“It will also positively contribute to promoting year-end shopping as well as improving the online shopping experience for consumers,” he said.
Nguyen Minh Phuong, a representative of the General Department of Market Management under the MoIT said that during the event if a product is detected as counterfeit or its origin is not clear, the department will conduct inspections on goods and handle the incident accordingly.
